The masterplan for the renovation of the Military Memorial Monument at Cima Grappa in Italy sets commemoration to the level of experiences by establishing deep links between the historic and the contemporary. The new geography merges nature and culture in the rich landscape, guiding the visitor along a path of diverse perceptions and interpretations of the history. A new path enters in the multimedia space, which narrates the story of the fallen and the heroic, and orients the visitor towards an elevated vantage point that overlooks the historic landscape and inspires contemplations of the past.
