Part of the masterplan for the Cascina Merlata urban development, the first residential block aims to create a new landmark in an emerging area of Milan. It is comprised of three volumes, seamlessly connected with the landscape design. Buildings are positioned in an angled composition which, marked by the particularly regular geometry of the 24-story tower, establish a dignified relationship with the cityscape. A newly created public realm transforms the existing urban fabric by adapting to the human scale. Aiming to convert the block into a residential settlement, it features carefully selected finishes and spatial arrangements that create a safe, healthy and sustainable environment.
