SYMBIOSIS BUSINESS DISTRICT WITH FASTWEB HEADQUARTERS REFLECTS THE CHANGING FACE OF SOUTH MILAN
Bordered by the large glazed facades of the headquarters of Italian telecommunications company Fastweb, the public square of the Symbiosis business district will open on September 27th. On a site area of 125,000 sqm, the building and its surrounding public spaces will provide an open and welcoming environment where social interaction is facilitated by sustainable technologies and means of transport.
“Milan set a strategy of creating squares years ago which gives a vision for urban development from now until 2030. Symbiosis leads the way for developments towards the south of the city, beyond Fondazione Prada and the Romana railway station area.” – Pierfrancesco Maran, Milan’s city planning commissioner
Landscape architect: Carlo Masera
