Patricia Viel took part in ‘Meeting di Rimini’, an event series organized every summer, in Rimini, since 1980 by the ‘Meeting Foundation for Friendship amongst Peoples’. Her talk focused on cities becoming devices that respond to people’s needs, and explored questions such as: How are cities evolving to offer services in the age of digital nomadism that alters our concepts of ‘stability’, ‘places’ and ‘living’. What does this suggest for the memory, the future and for the symbols of our urban culture?
