Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel is pleased to see Bulgari Resort Dubai as the winner of the AHEAD MEA Hotel of the Year award. The architecture and the interior design of the resort evoke a sense of understated luxury that moves away from superfluous expressions and creates a timeless design.

Bulgari Resort Dubai is an urban oasis conceived with the Mediterranean Village in mind, integrating all aspects of design from the masterplan to the smallest detail. The property is a first-of-its-kind development in the long-standing relationship between Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, both in scale and scope. The Resort is located minutes away from the effervescent city center of Dubai, on the manmade seahorse-shaped island of Jumeira Bay – a perfect ambiance for an exclusive island escape.

The design encompasses the elegant hotel building, comprising 101 rooms and suites, and a yacht club pavilion along the promenade of the Marina, as well as 20 villas on the shoreline with private pools and gardens. Taking their cue from the most brilliant of Bulgari jewels, the interiors and the exteriors are created with the Roman spirit of precision and detail that brings together rare materials in an outstanding composition of colors and textures. The opulent amenities evoke the traditional seaside Italian village which merges seamlessly with magnificent views of the Dubai skyline that opens up from the large beachfront terraces.
