Adopting a typically Italian visual imagery, the post office inside the “Lombardy Building” government office complex opened anew to pilot ACPV’s concept. Lifting the provision of postal services to the digital age, users have the possibility to take advantage of efficient multimedia technology systems to reduce queueing times, in addition to the dynamic and automated processes of parcel collection and shipping.

The concept for the next-generation post office is in line with the environmental sustainability principles of the national postal service provider Poste Italiane. The redrafting of the post office has the potential to bring the benefits of energy efficient materials and design choices to the 13,000 other post offices spread all over the country.
