The competition entry for the office headquarters in Milan, Italy is conceived with the environmental and social sustainability principles of the LEED and WELL certifications. The intensity of internal relationships between people that is activated in a network of collaboration and exchange is mirrored in a sequence of spaces that unfold around a garden – fragmented but united by a simple and pure language that merges with external spaces, all open to the local community. The design, which represents and reinforces the spirit of the organisation, encourages a sense of circularity around greenery, water and light. Relationships between people, functional needs and activities are organised according to a spatial diagram that is completely aligned with a logical structure that determines sequences, proximities and distances.
